STAINLESS STEEL SHELLS & PLATE ROLLING

Rolled stainless shells, rings, cones, and segments up to 1/2 inch thick, built for customers who need the shape without the whole tank.

ROLLED STAINLESS UP TO ½ INCH THICK

Watson’s plate rolls and shape rollers are sized for tank work, which means they handle stainless plate up to 1/2 inch thick, in diameters ranging from small vessels to our 180-inch shop maximum. We roll full cylindrical shells, individual rings and courses, and cones and transitions, then fit and seam-weld them on automated welders so the finished shell is round, straight, and ready for heads. We also roll segments for field-erected tanks, ready for welding on site.

You don’t have to buy a tank to get a shell. Fabricators, repair shops, and OEMs come to us for shells and other parts they can’t roll in-house, and we ship them finished or tacked for final welding on site.

HOW TO GET A QUOTE

Use our contact form and give us the diameter, length, plate thickness, stainless grade, and quantity, and tell us whether you want the longitudinal seam welded or left for your shop. We’ll reply with where to send the drawing.
