Watson finishes every tank it builds in-house, and the same equipment and crew are available for stainless parts and vessels from other shops. Tell us the finish you need. We polish to your specified Ra for sanitary and pharmaceutical surfaces, electropolish for the smoothest and most corrosion-resistant finish, passivate to restore the chromium oxide layer after welding or machining, and glass bead blast for a uniform matte exterior that hides handling marks.
Most outside finishing work comes to us for one of two reasons. First, food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical processors call when a vessel or a skid component arrives from a supplier with the wrong finish. Second, fabricators send work out when they don’t have a polishing room of their own. Either way, you get the same finish we put on our own tanks.
